Hotel Amalias Hus has over the years been awarded both national and international awards from prestigious industry organizations.
We are very proud and incredibly happy for the awards, appreciation and recognition that has been given to us and our business.
Our latest title and nomination comes from the renowned White Guide, which appointed Hotel Amalias Hus as one of Sweden's top 50 hotels and from International The Luxury Travel Guide Awards that awarded Hotel Amalias Hus the title as "Historic Luxury Boutique Hotel of Sweden 2019".

Who we are
In a customs station from 1769, Caroline and Per Syrén have created a four-star boutique hotel that has become something of a fuss and destination in the Småland region.
The goal has always been and continues to be to create and develop their "dream hotel" that they themselves would want to stay in and return to. Weighing both small and large decisions against this challenge works like a good compass and the result can be found in Gränna. Their focus is on ambiance and guest experience. To offer their guests a charming boutique hotel with excellent service strategically located in southern Sweden.
For those who want a unique and inspiring environment, beautiful accommodation and a place that also offers a great kitchen with menus inspired by regional cuisine and locally produced delicacies, Hotel Amalia's house should be your natural choice.

Hotel Amalias Hus has been a proud member of Regional Food Culture of Småland since January 2018. This means that as a guest you can indulge and taste the best that our nearby food producers have to offer.
We are passionate about sharing the culinary diversity and wide selection of flavors and raw materials that come from Småland. Our close cooperation with local food producers also means that you can enjoy a number of organic ingredients sometimes harvested the same day they reach your plate.
