Join our lovely midsummer celebrations and enjoy traditional midsummer food, extraordinary service and first-class accommodation in an 18th century environment.
On Gränna mountain, the local midsummer festivities will give you a traditional experience of a typical Swedish midsummer eve.
Your stay starts with traditional Swedish midsummer lunch consisting of Amalia's homemade herring, herring cake, porridge, boiled potatoes, eggs, smoked salmon, sausages, Swedish meatballs and homemade cheese pie. Our fridge filled with both chilled beer and Aquavit. For dessert we will serve our traditional strawberry cake with whipped cream.
After lunch, you can enjoy the afternoon in the sun with a good book beneath the apple trees, a glass of wine in our lounge or an inspirational walk along the cobbled streets of picturesque Gränna.
On Gränna mountain, just above the hotel, traditional Midsummer festivities with live music, song and dance will begin at 15.00pm. Partake in a traditional dance or just sit back and enjoy the scene filles with laughter, flowers and summer vibes.

Classic midsummer lunch
From 13.00 Mrs Amalia's classic midsummer lunch is served. Homemade herring, herring cake, potatoes, eggs, smoked salmon, sausage, meatballs and cheese pie. For dessert you will be served traditiopnal strawberry cake.

Enjoy a midsummer drink in our apple garden before dinner.
